Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Solutions Architect to accelerate customer adoption across security, compute, storage, networking, and advanced GenAI scenarios. You will lead with customers, translate requirements into scalable cloud architectures, and mentor others in best practices.

You will work with sales to craft technical sales strategies, educate customers, and drive successful cloud deployments while collaborating with product teams to shape the AWS platform.

Qualifications

• 4 years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
• 2 years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
• 5 years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.

• Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.

• Conduct one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers considering or already using AWS.
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge within the AWS solutions architect community.
• Author or otherwise contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers.
• Act as a technical liaison between customers and product teams and help evolve the AWS platform.
• Advocate for AWS’s GenAI strategy by building demos and PoCs to show customers the art-of-the possible.

As a Solutions Architect at AWS you will work directly with customers. We are looking for individuals who are motivated by the opportunity to work backwards from these customers’ needs and help them gain competitive edge using AWS. As an experienced technologist and key member of the Account team you will help influence customers’ architectural choices across broad use cases involving security, compute, storage networking as well as advanced scenarios involving serverless, analytics, and Generative AI.

As a part of the role, you will provide exceptional technical design guidance and thought leadership. You will lead efforts to capture and share best-practice knowledge with the AWS solution architect community. The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
