Qualifications

• 7+ years in software engineering, systems design, or infrastructure.

• Deep expertise with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies like Docker/Kubernetes.
• Strong proficiency in microservices, event-driven systems, RESTful/GraphQL APIs, and serverless design.

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Solution Architect to bridge the gap between business challenges and technology solutions. In this role, you will design scalable, robust, and secure end-to-end architectures that align with organizational objectives. You will lead technical direction across software design, cloud infrastructure, integration patterns, and data engineering, collaborating closely with product managers, developers, and executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Architecture & Solution Design: Translate complex business requirements into technical blueprints, system diagrams, and specifications for enterprise applications and integrations.
• Technical Leadership & Governance: Establish architectural standards, design patterns, and engineering best practices; lead Architecture Review Boards (ARBs).
• Cloud & Infrastructure Strategy: Architect resilient, secure, and cost-effective cloud-native applications across modern cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, business analysts, data engineers, and security teams to ensure alignment on deliverables, scope, and technical trade-offs.
• Technology Evaluation & Prototyping: Evaluate emerging technologies, third-party platforms, and frameworks; design and lead Proofs of Concept (POCs).
• Security & Compliance: Ensure all technical designs adhere to enterprise security standards, data privacy regulations, and disaster recovery objectives.
• Mentorship: Guide and mentor technical leads and software engineers on architecture patterns, code quality, and system scalability.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience – nice to have
• Experience:
• 7+ years in software engineering, systems design, or infrastructure.
• 5+ years in a Solution Architect, Technical Architect, or Lead Systems Architect role.Cloud & Distributed Systems: Deep expertise with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Software Architecture: Strong proficiency in microservices architecture, event-driven systems, RESTful/GraphQL APIs, and serverless design.
• Data & Storage: Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, as well as data warehousing or pipeline concepts.
• DevOps & CI/CD: Hands-on experience with modern CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and automated testing strategies
• Communication: Exceptional ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with modern AI/ML integration architectures (e.g., LLM orchestration, RAG pipelines).
• Background in domain-driven design (DDD) and legacy system modernization.
• Business domain experience and datasets experience in Pharma and Life Sciences industry

Nice to Have Qualifications

• Relevant cloud/architecture certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, TOGAF).
