You will leverage broad architectural expertise across networking, compute, identity, M365, endpoint, and datacenter tech to partner with business and technical teams and drive value.

You will join a global team, mentor colleagues, and lead complex MADICS initiatives with a focus on timely, outcome-driven results and strong governance.

As a Solutions Architect on our Merger, Acquisition, Divestiture, Integration, Closure, and Sites (MADICS) team, you will shape how Koch businesses deliver frictionless, timely, and value-driven services across the enterprise to help achieve business outcomes. In this role, you will leverage broad architectural expertise and strong business acumen, along with deep knowledge of networking, compute, identity, M365, endpoint, and datacenter technologies, to serve as a trusted consulting partner to both business and technical teams. Working closely with Enterprise Architects, domain experts, and product owners, you will translate complex challenges into innovative, actionable solutions that create value for Koch businesses. This position requires strong leadership, the ability to quickly integrate with the team, and the capability to take ownership of complex projects soon after joining the organization.

Location: This role can be located in Wichita, KS / Atlanta, GA / Plano, TX / Green Bay, WI and requires an in-office presence with flexibility.

What You Will Do

• Architect innovative solutions that deliver business outcomes in collaboration with many different technical domains and functional teams.
• Partner with project managers and business IT stakeholders to understand and develop plans to address the business problem(s) to be solved.
• Manage relationships, escalations, create proposals and perform due diligence with business partners on new and in-flight MADICS projects.
• Work on tight timelines with a sense of urgency to meet defined delivery dates.
• Lean into curiosity and new ideas. Use experimental discovery to prove or disprove those ideas.
• Engage, challenge, and create reference architectures, frameworks, and patterns for Koch Technologies. Publish artifacts in a central MADICS architecture repository.
• Act as a mentor, providing ongoing coaching and mentoring to peers, enabling their continued growth.
• Continually strengthen your knowledge network across Koch Technologies and the operating companies. Collaborate and partner to leverage your comparative advantage across the organization.
• Help define and implement our MADICS strategy.
• Drive innovative business solutions and digital transformation.
• Be a technical point of contact for any blockers faced by PMs, technical SMEs.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Demonstrated experience in architecture or senior engineering roles.
• Experience in multiple technical domains (network, server, storage, endpoint, identity, etc.)
• Experience in leading teams through delivering complex solutions across several technical domains
• Experience partnering with project managers to build project scope, build time/cost estimates and meet objectives and timelines
• Experience in working collaboratively on global projects
