Conch Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Solutions Architect for a 6+ month engagement. The role is 100% remote, with mandatory in-person meetings prior to start at offices in Dallas, South Florida, PA, NY, and DC/VA/MD regions.

You will own Kafka production paths, design APIs for multiple consumers (GraphQL/BFF), and guide distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native platforms using AWS, Java/Spring, Kafka, and PostgreSQL.

Competenze

• Recent ownership of Kafka in production including contracts and replay.
• Strong background in distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with saga patterns and data reconciliation approaches.
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture and cloud-native platforms.
• Ability to build proofs-of-concept and test harnesses.

Job Description

• This role needs someone who has recently owned the product path: Kafka in production (contracts, failure, replay), API design for multiple consumers including GraphQL or an equivalent BFF, and a system they can describe end to end.
• The architect should have strong experience with: Distributed systems, Event-driven architecture, Event sourcing, Saga patterns, Data reconciliation approaches, Enterprise application architecture, and Cloud-native platforms
• Help build architectural runway, technical documentation, and proof-of-concepts.
• Current tech environment: React Native, Java ecosystem, Spring Boot, On v21 for Java, Kafka, PostgreSQL, AWS and more
• The candidate must be able to: Build proof-of-concepts, Create test harnesses, Validate solutions, Experiment with architectural approaches, and Demonstrate technical feasibility
