Job summary

Tata Technologies in the United States (Maryland) seeks an experienced Solution Architect for Technical Publications to lead design, implementation, and transformation of enterprise publishing ecosystems.

You will leverage deep expertise in Arbortext, XML, DITA, S1000D, and SIM to drive content reuse, publishing automation, and end-to-end workflows from authoring to delivery. Strong leadership in architecture and standards is essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Technical Publications.
• 5+ years as Solution Architect, Lead Consultant, or Technical Publications Architect.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern Common Information Architecture (CIA).
• Design content models, metadata, taxonomy, and publishing standards.
• Architect Technical Publications solutions using PTC Arbortext.
• Define end-to-end workflows for authoring, review, translation, publishing, and delivery.
• Implement and optimize: Arbortext Editor, Arbortext Publishing Engine (PE), Arbortext Content Delivery (ACD).
• Develop publishing templates, stylesheets, XSL-FO, and FOSI customizations.
• Establish content reuse strategies using: Conditional text, Variable content, Content references, Shared modules, Product variants.
• Lead Service Information Management (SIM) solutions.
• Support: EBOM to SBOM transformation, Service Parts Catalog creation, Technical illustrations integration, Service documentation synchronization.
• Drive AI-enabled documentation and publishing automation initiatives.
