Job summary

GE Aerospace Engineering is seeking a Solutions Architect to lead data and AI solution engagements. You will shape architectures across data platforms, machine learning, and analytics, working with engineers and customers to deliver strategic value.

You will help design reference architectures, perform POCs, and present technical guidance while collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role requires 3+ years in customer-facing architecture or pre-sales and travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, or consulting role.
• Experience designing and architecting distributed data systems.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, SQL, and R.
• Experience building solutions on public cloud providers (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., CS, CE, IS, Applied Math).
• Nice to have: AWS and/or Azure Certification.

The Impact You Will Have

What We Look For

• Solution architects are customer-facing. You'll need to be comfortable communicating ideas to various audiences through presentations, whiteboarding, architecture discussions, and platform demonstrations.
• 3+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, or consulting role.
• Experience designing and architecting distributed data systems.
• Comfortable programming in and debugging in Python, Java, SQL, and R.
• Have built solutions with public cloud providers, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience in at least one of the following: Data Warehousing (e.g., SQL, OLTP/OLAP/DSS), Data Science and Machine Learning technologies (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn).
• Degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Applied Mathematics).
• Nice to have: AWS and/or Azure Certification.
