Responsibilities

• Support Azure and on-prem environments (VMware / Hyper-V).
• Execute cloud migrations and infrastructure modernization efforts.

• Configure hybrid identity (AAD Connect), RBAC, MFA, and conditional access.
• Integrate identity services with enterprise and ERP applications.
• Support ERP platforms (Oracle, SAP, or similar) for integrations.
• Develop infrastructure automation using Terraform, ARM, or Bicep.
• Use scripting (PowerShell) to standardize deployments.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and reusable deployment patterns.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues; monitor and tune systems.

The Solutions Architect is a mid level,hands-on individual contributor responsible for designing and implementing solutions across a hybrid IT environment including Microsoft Azure, on-prem infrastructure, identity platforms, and ERP systems. This

This role focuses onexecution and delivery—translating architecture into working solutions. The ideal candidate is a strong technical engineer with architectural capability who can deploy, automate, and integrate systems across infrastructure, identity (AD/Entra), and enterprise applications.

This role is based in Alpharetta, Georgia and operates in a hybrid work environment. This role will be 70% hands- on implementation and 30% design. The position reports to the leader of infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5–8 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, cloud engineering, or similar roles
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure and hybrid environments
• Strong knowledge of:
• Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID
• Virtualization (VMware or Hyper‑V)
• Networking fundamentals (DNS, routing, firewalls)
• Experience with scripting (PowerShell preferred)
• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, ARM, or Bicep)
• Experience supporting or integrating with enterprise applications or ERP systems
• Ability to travel up to 10% as business needs require

Preferred

• Microsoft Azure certifications (Administrator or Solutions Architect Associate)
• Experience with:
• Monitoring/observability tools
• ITSM tools (ServiceNow or equivalent)
• Demonstrates strong problem-solving and analytical skills in complex technical environments.
• Balances architectural design responsibilities with hands‑on implementation and execution.
• Collaborates effectively with infrastructure, application, security, and business stakeholders.
• Exhibits a continuous improvement mindset with a focus on automation, standardization, and operational efficiency.
• Communicates technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrates strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
