Job summary

Baker Tilly in Philadelphia is seeking a Salesforce Architect/Consultant to join our Advisory Group. You will design Salesforce architecture, implement declarative solutions, and lead data modeling and integration efforts for complex client projects.

You'll collaborate with sales and delivery teams, deliver tailored demos, participate in discovery sessions, and produce documentation and design recommendations to drive successful engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience with Management or Technology Consulting preferred.
• Salesforce Administrator Certification (Admin 201) required.
• Proficiency in Salesforce Lightning and Salesforce Data Loader and/or DemandTools.
• Certified Salesforce Cloud Consultant and Certified Salesforce Advanced Administrator (Admin 301) pref.

Responsibilities

• Build architecture on the Salesforce platform (objects, fields, page layouts, automation).

• Provide design recommendations with multiple options and discuss data models.
• Design mockups of custom pages and prototype solutions.
• Rapidly prototype solutions and incorporate feedback.

Responsibilities

Solution Delivery

• Build architecture (objects, fields, page layouts) and automation (workflow rules, process builders, approval processes) on the Salesforce platform
• Build declarative components (Apps, Lightning Pages) in Salesforce Lightning
• Create on-record analytics (roll up fields, formula fields, record-level reports) in Salesforce
• Configure the Salesforce objects, custom settings and account model
• Install and configure applications from the Salesforce AppExchange such as email, social media, financial management, online payment, SMS, and form building applications. Install and configure proprietary applications as needed
• Facilitate business process workshops and requirements gathering sessions with customer stakeholders
• Define appropriate data model and system architecture from business requirements workshops
• Create comprehensive technical documentation appropriate for both engineering and clients. This includes documentation mapping detailed (field level) data flows
• Create written recommendations, outlining multiple solution designs and considerations for each. Discuss data model considerations internally and with clients
• Design mockups of custom pages
• Rapidly prototype solutions and integrate feedback to support iterative development cycles

Sales & Presales

• Facilitate discovery calls to understand prospective clients' business processes, pain points, and goals, and translate those into Salesforce solution approaches
• Lead technical discovery sessions and gap analyses to qualify opportunities and identify Industry Cloud, AppExchange, and custom configuration needs
• Build and deliver tailored product demonstrations and proof-of-concept environments that showcase Salesforce capabilities against the prospect's use cases
• Contribute to proposals, statements of work, and RFP responses, including solution narratives, scope definitions, assumptions, and level-of-effort estimates
• Serve as the technical subject matter expert during the sales cycle, answering architecture, integration, data migration, and security questions from prospects
• Estimate implementation effort and identify delivery risks to inform accurate pricing and timelines
• Support a smooth handoff from sales to delivery by documenting agreed-upon scope, requirements, and design decisions
