The Solution Engineer is a contributing member of the Sales organization, supporting the design and delivery of technical solutions across Keysight's Network and Application/Security (NAS) test portfolio. This role is a strong fit for an engineer who is building hands-on expertise in test systems and networking protocols and is eager to grow into more complex, customer-facing technical work, including the emerging demands of AI/ML data center networking. The successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and bring adaptability and a collaborative, team-first approach. Recent graduates with a Master's degree and relevant internship or military experience are encouraged to apply.
A background equivalent to a U.S. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering is essential. The role supports both pre-sales and post-sales activities, with a working understanding of networking and routing protocols such as OSPF, ISIS, and MP-BGP, as well as EVPN/Segment Routing, and familiarity with data encapsulations including MPLS, VxLAN, MACSec, and RoCEv2.
As AI and machine learning workloads reshape modern data center architectures, exposure to AI/ML back-end network fabrics, including RoCEv2/RDMA and lossless Ethernet concepts (PFC, ECN, DCQCN) for GPU cluster environments, is a plus. Familiarity with private and public cloud capabilities, including Linux, KVM, containers, Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, and Azure, is an advantage. Basic Python automation skills are valued for improving efficiency and supporting solution development.
