Job summary

AND Digital Limited is seeking a Solution Director – Platform & AI to lead growth and delivery across enterprise cloud and AI initiatives. You will report to the US CTO, define go-to-market strategy, and guide platform, cloud, software engineering, and AI solutions for high-impact clients.

You will drive architectural rigor, coaching, and governance while collaborating with strategic partners and client teams to achieve measurable business outcomes across the US market.

Qualifications

• 10+ to 15 years in technology or consulting, with 6+ years in Platform, Cloud, AI or related delivery.
• Experience leading enterprise tech transformation and platform engineering programmes.
• Strong background in cloud platforms, architecture, and AI technologies.

Solution Director – Platform & AI

As a Technical Solution Director within our central Practice Area, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving the growth of AND Digital’s Platform & AI business. Reporting directly to the US CTO, you’ll define and execute our go-to-market strategy, build strong ecosystem partnerships, and guide solution delivery through AND’s unique club model.

Acting as a senior advisor to clients, you will design and lead the delivery of transformative enterprise-grade platform, cloud, software engineering, and AI solutions, leveraging deep expertise across AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, modern application platforms, cloud-native architectures, and AI technologies.

As part of a rapidly scaling US operation—growing over 400% year-over-year you’ll collaborate with global powerhouses and C‑Suite leaders across industries such as Financial Services, Travel, and beyond. In addition to driving client success, you’ll help shape AND Digital’s Platform and AI capability across North America, fostering technical excellence and growing internal capability to meet the expanding demand for intelligent, scalable and modern digital transformation.

What You’ll Do

1. Engage with clients

• Act as a trusted advisor to C-suite stakeholders (CTO/CDO/CPO).
• Build relationships that uncover client challenges, technology opportunities, and transformation priorities.
• Show the art of the possible across Platform, Cloud, Software Engineering and AI, connecting innovation to measurable outcomes.
• Help clients define technology strategies that enable scale, agility, resilience, and business growth.

2. Shape solutions

• Translate complex business and technology needs into compelling, value-driven Platform & AI solutions.
• Design and shape modern technology platforms, cloud-native architectures, application ecosystems, and AI-enabled solutions.
• Guide teams to deliver against the technical vision and ensure robust, outcome-focused delivery.
• Support business case development, proposals, and pre-sales.
• Ensure solutions balance technical excellence, commercial viability, scalability, security, and time to value.

3. Technical & Delivery Oversight

• Provide client-facing technical leadership across AI architecture, platform architecture, cloud engineering, software engineering, and technology strategy.
• Lead technology-agnostic solutioning across AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and other modern technology platforms.
• Act as a senior technical gatekeeper for architecture, engineering quality, AI, and platform delivery.
• Oversee architecture quality and delivery outcomes across multiple engagements.
• Ensure projects align to measurable client KPIs and business results.
• Drive cloud-native engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, automation, MLOps, and engineering best practices through coaching and governance.
• Establish and maintain standards for architecture, code quality, system design, security, scalability, and operational excellence.

4. Drive growth

• Identify, qualify, and shape new opportunities across AND.
• Partner with Client Teams to develop deals, coach others, and influence outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with strategic partners such as AWS, Google, and Microsoft to co-sell and co-market solutions.
• Help define go-to-market strategy and reusable accelerators for Platform & AI offerings.
• Represent AND Digital’s Platform & AI capability in the market externally, contributing to proposals, events, and industry forums.
• Achieve a leveraged revenue impact target of around $2.5m+.

5. Lead our propositions and Practice IP

• Own and evolve AND’s Platform & AI proposition, partnerships, and thought leadership.
• Develop propositions spanning platform engineering, cloud transformation, modern software engineering, AI, and intelligent application development.
• Be a visible leader in the Platform & AI community—driving consistency, quality, and innovation.
• Develop reusable frameworks, accelerators, patterns, and IP that strengthen AND’s market proposition.
• Develop training and mentoring to grow internal capability.

6. Lead and inspire

• Provide senior oversight, coaching, and technical challenge across engagements.
• Champion engineering and architectural excellence and act as a role model for proactive, positive leadership.
• Mentor platform, cloud, software engineering, and AI practitioners across the US and nearshore teams.
• Shape the foundation of AND Digital’s Platform & AI practice in the US.
• Contribute to US recruitment, onboarding, and capability growth across Platform Engineering, Cloud, AI, Software Engineering, as well as more broadly.

Key Evaluation Criteria

• Minimum 2+ years in recent senior leadership roles within Platform, Cloud, Software Engineering, AI, or Technology Architecture, OR a highly hands‑on, client‑facing individual who is ready to take the next step.
• Has led teams shipping platform, cloud, software, or AI solutions into production with measurable impact.
• Balances deep technical fluency with strong client-facing and commercial ability.
• Demonstrated experience modernising technology platforms, engineering organisations, applications, or client workflows through cloud, platform engineering, and/or AI.
• Has worked with hyperscale clientele and/or consultancies.
• Experienced in architecture reviews, code quality, system design, platform governance, and technical delivery oversight.
• Proven success in consulting or digital delivery environments, ideally bridging product and services.
• Comfortable in fast‑paced, outcome‑based commercial models (fixed‑price and outcome‑driven).
• Experienced in coaching, scaling, and enabling teams across multiple geographies.
• Uses metrics or OKRs to tie technology delivery to business outcomes.
• Able to operate credibly across executive stakeholders, architects, engineers, product leaders, and delivery teams.

Experience & Skills

• 10 to 15 years in technology or consulting, with 6+ years in Platform, Cloud, Software Engineering, Architecture, AI, or related technology delivery.
• Proven record of leading enterprise technology transformation, platform engineering, cloud, software engineering, and/or AI programmes for Fortune 1000 or mid‑market clients.
• Strong technical background across AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, modern cloud platforms, platform engineering, and software architecture.
• Strong understanding of modern AI technologies and their integration into enterprise platforms and applications.
• For example, able to lead solution architecture and delivery across AWS technologies—including Bedrock, SageMaker, EKS, Lambda, and other cloud‑native services—whilst maintaining a technology‑agnostic approach when required.
• Experience with modern engineering practices including DevOps, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, Kubernetes/containerisation, observability, automation, platform engineering, and MLOps.
• Strong commercial and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication and storytelling ability—credible with both engineers and executives.
• Must reside on the East Coast (NY/NJ, Atlanta, Charlotte, or South Florida).
