Job summary

Consolidated Electrical Distributors (CED) is offering a Solution Consultant Intern role to gain hands-on experience in industrial automation. You will join a team of automation solution consultants and contribute to projects across manufacturing environments during a 10–12 week, paid program.

The internship includes on-the-job training, mentoring, and exposure to technology rollouts, customer analysis, and sales projects designed by management.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Current, valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Authorization to work in the United States (without requiring work authorization sponsorship by CED now or in the future)

Summary:

In this role you will be working with a team of automation solution consultants at some of the most innovative manufacturing companies in the world. Our ISN team of automation engineers are actively helping our clients improve the people, process, and reliability of their manufacturing plants. Our 10-12 week introductory course is paid and will provide candidates a working knowledge of the industry by exposing them to all aspects of the industrial automation distribution field through a combination of on the job training and mentoring. Our interns will have the ability to work on a special project assigned to them such as new technology rollouts, customer analysis, sales, and other projects as designed by the management team and intern.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Current, valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Authorization to work in the United States (without requiring work authorization sponsorship by CED now or in the future)

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite software
