Job summary

Kardex Remstar, LLC seeks a Solution Architect for Record-to-Report (R2R) to design, implement, and continuously improve SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions within Kardex's global ERP landscape. The role partners with Finance stakeholders and IT to translate requirements into scalable SAP designs, aligning with global standards and templates.

You will drive standardization, automate R2R processes, and support the Kardex Transformation Program across locations, with travel to US entities as needed.

More than 3,000 employees around the globe develop and manufacture logistics solutions that are used in many different industries worldwide, such as industrial manufacturing as well as trade and administration.We are searching for our US entities a Solution Architect Record-to-Report (R2R) for the implementation and further development of S4Hana.In this role you are responsible for the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of Finance, Controlling, and Accounting solutions within Kardex's global SAP S/4HANA landscape.The role acts as a trusted IT partner for Finance business stakeholders and translates business requirements into scalable, standardized, and sustainable SAP solutions aligned with Kardex's ERP strategy and enterprise architecture principles.You are willing and able to commute to one of our US entities on a regular base such as Wexford, Westbrook or West Columbia.Working closely with Senior Solution Architects, Global Process Owners, SAP application teams, and implementation partners, the role supports the harmonization and optimization of global Record-to-Report processes while contributing to the successful execution of the Kardex Transformation Program.Your tasksBusiness & Solution ArchitectureAnalyze and translate finance, controlling, and accounting business requirements into scalable and sustainable SAP S/4HANA solution designs.Drive process standardization and identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and optimize Record-to-Report processes.Ensure alignment with global architecture principles, SAP standards, and Kardex template requirements.SAP Solution Design & GovernanceDesign, document, and review SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions aligned with business requirements and architecture standards.Contribute to the maintenance and evolution of the global SAP Finance template.Ensure adoption of SAP standard functionality and minimize unnecessary custom developments.Collaborate with Solution Architects from other process domains to ensure end-to-end process integration.Transformation & Project DeliverySupport the Kardex Transformation Program through workshops, fit-gap analyses, solution design, testing, rollout, and deployment activities.Collaborate with implementation partners to ensure high-quality delivery of agreed solutions.Stakeholder ManagementAct as trusted advisor to finance, controlling, and accounting stakeholders regarding SAP Finance capabilities and best practices.Support through requirements workshops, process improvement initiatives, and solution design discussions.Support escalation management and issue resolution for complex business and application topics.Operational Support & Continuous ImprovementProvide expert support for complex Finance-related SAP incidents, problems, and enhancement requests.Coordinate and monitor 3rd-level support provided by implementation- and support-partners.Ensure solution quality, stability, maintainability, and effective knowledge transferYour profileEducation:Bachelor's or master’s degree in information technology, Business Informatics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Strong understanding of finance, controlling, and accounting business processesFluent in EnglishSAP S/4HANA Finance certifications are considered an advantageExperience:Profund experience in SAP Finance and Controlling environmentsHands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA in Finance-related process areasExperience with SAP FI, CO, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Revenue Accounting & Reporting, Internal Orders, and Financial ReportingExperience gathering business requirements and translating them into SAP solution designsExperience working with implementation partners and business stakeholders in an international environmentExperience supporting ERP projects, rollouts, system enhancements, or transformation initiativesKnowledge of end-to-end integration points between Finance and cross-functional business processesKnowledge about legal finance requirements in the AmericasExperience with Sovos Tax Solutions for SAP preferredThe position requires occasional domestic and international travel.
