Stella Contracting, Inc. is seeking an accomplished Solution Architect to lead design of scalable, secure technology solutions in a hybrid work arrangement in Fort Worth, TX.

You will translate complex business requirements into practical architectures, collaborate with engineering, security, data, and business teams, and drive architecture governance and roadmaps across the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in solution or systems architecture, cloud experience

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in solution architecture or related roles.
• Experience designing and implementing complex technology solutions.
• Strong understanding of enterprise applications, APIs, databases, and infrastructure.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end technology solutions aligned with business objectives, standards, security, and scalability.
• Translate business requirements into clear technical architectures and designs.
• Evaluate applications, platforms, infrastructure, integrations, APIs, databases, and services.
• Develop architecture diagrams, specifications, roadmaps, and implementation plans.
• Partner with software, cloud, cybersecurity, infrastructure, data, and project teams throughout the lifecycle.
• Assess existing environments and identify opportunities for modernization, automation, and cost reduction.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and make value- and feasibility-based recommendations.
• Identify risks, dependencies, integration challenges, and architectural constraints.
• Participate in architecture reviews, governance, vendor evaluations, and technology selection.
• Ensure solutions meet security, reliability, performance, compliance, and scalability.
• Provide technical leadership throughout implementation and delivery.
• Communicate complex concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished Solution Architect to join our technology team and lead the design of scalable, secure, and business-focused technology solutions. This is a high-impact role for a technology professional who can translate complex business requirements into practical technical architectures and work collaboratively with engineering, infrastructure, security, data, and business teams.

The position offers a hybrid work arrangement, combining remote flexibility with regular in-person collaboration, stakeholder meetings, architecture reviews, and project engagements. The initial engagement is a 12-month renewable contract, with renewal opportunities based on performance, business needs, and project requirements.

What You’ll Do

• 1- Design end-to-end technology solutions aligned with business objectives, technical standards, security requirements, and scalability needs.
• 2- Translate business and functional requirements into clear technical architectures and solution designs.
• 3- Evaluate applications, platforms, infrastructure, integrations, APIs, databases, and technology services.
• 4- Develop architecture diagrams, technical specifications, solution roadmaps, and implementation plans.
• 5- Partner with software engineering, cloud, cybersecurity, infrastructure, data, and project teams throughout the solution lifecycle.
• 6- Assess existing technology environments and identify opportunities for modernization, optimization, automation, and cost reduction.
• 7- Evaluate emerging technologies and make recommendations based on business value, feasibility, security, and long-term sustainability.
• 8- Identify technical risks, dependencies, integration challenges, and potential architectural constraints.
• 9- Participate in architecture reviews, technical governance, vendor evaluations, and technology selection processes.
• 10- Ensure proposed solutions meet enterprise security, reliability, performance, compliance, and scalability expectations.
• 11- Provide technical leadership while remaining engaged throughout implementation and delivery.
• 12- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For

• 1- 5+ years of experience in solution architecture, systems architecture, software engineering, infrastructure, cloud technology, or a closely related discipline.
• 2- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing complex technology solutions.
• 3- Strong understanding of enterprise applications, integrations, APIs, databases, networking, infrastructure, and modern software architectures.
• 4- Experience with cloud environments such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
• 5- Strong understanding of cybersecurity, identity and access management, data protection, and enterprise technology risk.
• 6- Experience creating architecture diagrams, technical documentation, roadmaps, and solution specifications.
• 7- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• 8- Ability to balance business priorities with technical requirements and long-term architecture strategy.
• 9- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
