deepl is looking for a Solution Architect to join their global solution consulting team. This role involves engaging with customers to transform their localization workflows and ensuring the integration of DeepL solutions. You will leverage your expertise in language technology and AI to shape client strategies and improve operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in solution architecture within the language tech or enterprise SaaS sectors and be fluent in English, with additional language skills preferred. The company offers a hybrid work model with flexible hours and numerous employee benefits.
As a Solution Architect on our global solution consulting team, you’ll sit at the intersection of enterprise translation strategy, localisation technology, and complex deal execution. You’ll shape how DeepL is positioned with respect to language and/or translation service providers, design future language AI workflows, and help build the playbooks that scale what works across the broader GTM team.
You understand modern AI stacks and language customization and localisation as a whole—governance, glossary‑management, QA workflows, post‑editing—and can navigate a conversation between a Localization Manager and a Head of Engineering without losing either.
Diverse and internationally distributed team: join a global community of more than 90 nationalities, with employees based in the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, the US, and Japan, and a worldwide presence that continues to expand.
Open communication, regular feedback: value clear, honest communication, smooth collaboration, and actionable feedback, while leading with empathy and a growth mindset.
Hybrid work, flexible hours: a hybrid schedule with office visits twice a week and flexible working hours that complement each other’s time zones for effective collaboration.
Virtual Shares: an ownership mindset for every role, giving each employee Virtual Shares that tie your contribution directly to DeepL’s growth.
Regular in‑person team events: local team and business‑unit gatherings, new‑joiner onboardings, and company‑wide events that bring us all together.
Monthly full‑day hacking sessions: Hack Fridays allow you to spend time on passion projects and collaborate across teams.
30 days of annual leave: 30 days off (excluding public holidays) and access to mental‑health resources for holistic wellbeing.
Competitive benefits: tailored to support employees globally, aligned with your unique location and personal needs.
You are welcome at DeepL for who you are – we appreciate authenticity here. Our product is for everyone, and so is our workplace. The more voices we have represented and amplified in our business, the more we will all succeed, contribute, and think forward. Bring us your experience, perspectives, and background; it’s in our diversity that we will find the power to break down language barriers in the world.
