Job summary

CTG is seeking a Solution Architect I for a remote role with periodic travel to Buffalo (roughly every 4-6 weeks). This 6-month engagement centers on delivering scalable Microsoft Azure cloud solutions, data center migration, and cross-functional architecture development.

You will partner with Enterprise Architects and agile teams to design and validate architectures while ensuring governance and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience, or 9 years total experience.
• Strong Azure architecture experience including design, connectivity, resiliency, and migration.
• Experience with software architecture, application integration, and service engineering.
• Experience with multiple programming languages.
• Strong technical problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively across business, technology, and risk teams.

Location

Remote (Travel to Buffalo approximately every 4-6 weeks, preferably Sunday through Thursday)

Duration

Primary Responsibilities

Education and Experience Required

• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience, or 9 years of combined education and experience.
• Strong Microsoft Azure architecture experience, including application design, connectivity, resiliency, and migration.
• Experience with software architecture, application integration, and service engineering.
• Experience with multiple programming languages.
• Strong technical problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively across business, technology, and risk teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate degree in a technical discipline.
• Agile experience.
• Financial services or banking technology experience.
• Cloud or programming certifications.
• Experience presenting to enterprise-level audiences.
• Eastern or Central time zone preferred.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $43.06 - $71.76/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
