Solution Architect (Headless Commerce & Integration)

Vervint Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul Area

* This role would be hybrid in either Grand Rapids, MI or Edina, MN.

We are looking for a Solution Architect with deep experience designing modern, scalable digital and commerce ecosystems. This role focuses on architecting solutions using Commercetools, headless CMS platforms, and API/GraphQL-based integrations, while guiding teams on technology decisions, best practices, and long-term platform strategy.

• Architect end-to-end solutions leveraging headless commerce platforms and modular, API-driven design.
• Lead technical discovery, solutioning, and architectural decision-making with internal and external stakeholders.
• Define integration strategies using APIs, GraphQL, and third-party service orchestration.
• Provide architectural oversight for development teams using .NET and React Native.
• Collaborate with product, delivery, security, and engineering teams to ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
• Produce architecture artifacts including diagrams, data flows, integration patterns, and documentation.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise standards, performance benchmarks, and future-state roadmaps.

What You’ll Bring:

• Proven experience architecting solutions with Commercetools or similar headless commerce platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Agility CMS or Contentstack, including content architecture and publishing workflows.
• Expert-level understanding of API + GraphQL integration patterns.
• Ability to guide and oversee solution delivery leveraging .NET and React Native technologies.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including presenting technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to balance technical depth with business constraints and delivery timelines.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with microservices, event-driven architecture, or modular platform modernization.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure preferred, but AWS/GCP acceptable).
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, monitoring, and observability frameworks.
• Background in eCommerce, retail, large-scale digital transformation, or platform modernization.
