Job summary

Siemens Healthineers in Malvern, PA is seeking a Solution Architect for Fleet Management in Finance. You will partner with Sales, Product Management, and Implementation teams to translate customer needs into secure, scalable healthcare IT solutions and lead technical engagements.

The role requires strong customer-facing communication, experience in healthcare IT interoperability (DICOM, HL7, PACS/VNA, EMR/EHR), and expertise in infrastructure, cybersecurity, and enterprise IT.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Solution Engineering, Sales Engineering, Technical Consulting, Pre-Sales, Solution Architecture, or similar
  • Experience with enterprise customers through complex technology evaluations and sales cycles
  • Healthcare IT experience strongly preferred, particularly imaging, clinical applications, enterprise IT, or healthcare technology solutions
  • Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong presentation, demonstration, discovery, and customer relationship skills

Solution Architect - Fleet Management (Finance)

This role partners with Sales and Product Management to lead technical customer engagements, translate customer needs into viable solutions, and demonstrate the business and operational value of our solutions. The position combines solution engineering, healthcare IT, infrastructure, interoperability, and cybersecurity expertise to ensure solutions are technically feasible, secure, and ready for implementation. The ideal candidate is a strong customer-facing communicator who can connect technical requirements with customer outcomes and collaborate across Sales, Product, and Implementation teams.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with Sales and Product Management throughout the customer acquisition process to understand customer needs, shape solutions, and provide technical expertise.
  • Lead technical customer discussions remotely and onsite with clinical, business, IT, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and executive stakeholders.
  • Translate complex technical, clinical, and operational requirements into clear solution recommendations and business value for customers.
  • Conduct technical discovery and assess customer environments, workflows, infrastructure, integration, and security requirements to determine solution feasibility and deployment readiness.
  • Create and deliver customer-facing technical presentations, demonstrations, solution overviews, and proof-of-concept activities.
  • Evaluate customer integration and interoperability requirements, including connectivity with existing clinical, imaging, enterprise IT, and third-party systems.
  • Guide customers through technical, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data privacy, and operational requirements needed to deploy and operate the solution.
  • Support RFP/RFI responses, technical questionnaires, security reviews, and customer due diligence activities by coordinating technical inputs and ensuring accurate and consistent responses.
  • Drive completion of site readiness assessments and document implementation prerequisites, dependencies, assumptions, and risks.
  • Support hardware, software, infrastructure, and capacity sizing discussions and contribute to solution scope and project cost estimations.
  • Document customer requirements, technical decisions, risks, assumptions, and dependencies and provide a structured handover to implementation and project teams.
  • Represent customer technical requirements and feedback to Product Management, Professional Services, Cybersecurity, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve technical questions and risks throughout the sales cycle and ensure alignment between customer expectations and proposed solutions.
  • Support the transition from sales to implementation by ensuring technical requirements, customer expectations, and deployment assumptions are clearly understood.
  • Approximately 30% travel anticipated.
Experience & Qualifications
Customer-Facing Solution Engineering
  • Experience in Solution Engineering, Sales Engineering, Technical Consulting, Pre-Sales, Solution Architecture, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
  • Experience working directly with enterprise customers through complex technology evaluations and sales cycles.
  • Healthcare IT experience strongly preferred, particularly in imaging, clinical applications, enterprise IT, or healthcare technology solutions.
  • Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong presentation, demonstration, discovery, and customer relationship skills.
  • Ability to translate customer business, clinical, and operational needs into practical technical solutions.
Healthcare IT & Interoperability
  • Understanding of healthcare IT environments, clinical workflows, and enterprise technology ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with healthcare interoperability and integration technologies such as DICOM, HL7, APIs, identity and access management, PACS/VNA, EMR/EHR, and related systems is highly preferred.
  • Ability to assess technical dependencies across customer applications, infrastructure, networking, identity management, and security environments.
Networking & Infrastructure
  • Understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure and networking concepts, including TCP/IP networking, network segmentation, routing, firewalls, VPNs, and connectivity.
  • Ability to analyze customer network environments and identify solution deployment requirements, dependencies, and risks.
  • Familiarity with cloud, hybrid-cloud, and on-premises deployments.
  • Experience supporting infrastructure sizing, capacity planning, and technical readiness assessments.
Cybersecurity & Data Protection
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity and data privacy principles.
  • Knowledge of network security, encryption, secure remote access, identity/access management, and security best practices.
  • Ability to discuss data privacy, auditability, compliance, and regulatory requirements with customer IT and security teams.
  • Experience supporting security reviews, risk assessments, technical due diligence, and customer security questionnaires.

The base pay range for this position is: $117,770 - $161,931

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
