Job summary

DCG Poland is seeking a Solution Architect to define and maintain a scalable solution architecture across enterprise systems. You will translate business needs into robust, secure architectural designs and drive standardization and governance.

You will lead technical discussions, mentor development teams, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure interoperability and optimal integration of services, ESB patterns, and microservices in agile projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/SE or related field.
• 7+ years in software development; at least 2 in enterprise architecture.
• Proven experience designing enterprise software using SOA, ESB and microservices.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, event-driven architectures, Kafka, GraphQL, and Redis.
• Proven Agile/Scrum leadership and ability to mentor development teams.

Solution Architect

Responsibilities:

• Defining and maintaining the solution architecture: Designing the overall system architecture, translating business, functional and technical requirements into scalable and secure architectural solutions
• Designing system interoperability and integration: Defining interfaces between system components and external platforms, ensuring interoperability across distributed systems, selecting appropriate integration patterns and technologies, and maintaining architectural consistency throughout the system lifecycle
• Leading architectural governance and technology selection: Establishing architecture standards and best practices, evaluating technologies and solution alternatives
• Supporting system planning and software development: Estimating software development activities, analysing existing systems, contributing to solution design and change management and ensuring the solution remains scalable, maintainable and aligned with business objectives
• Producing technical documentation and providing technical leadership: Preparing architectural documentation and technical presentations, communicating architectural decisions to stakeholders, mentoring development teams

Requirements:

• Higher education degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related technical discipline
• Minimum 7 years of proven professional experience in software development, including at least 2 years in software architecture for large-scale enterprise systems
• Proven expertise in designing enterprise software solutions based on service-oriented architecture (SOA), Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) concepts and microservices architectures
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, including event-driven architectures, Apache Kafka, GraphQL APIs and Redis, with experience integrating complex software systems
• Experience working in Agile (Scrum), ability to lead technical discussions, define architectural standards, mentor development teams, and communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
