Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Solutions Architect to drive end-to-end architectures for enterprise applications in a fully remote U.S. delivery model.

Qualifications

• Proven architecture experience across two major cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end solution architectures for enterprise applications across application, integration, data, security, and infrastructure layers.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to capture requirements and translate them into reference architectures.
• Lead architecture review boards, evaluate designs against standards, security policies, and roadmaps.
• Design integration strategies across SaaS, on-prem, and hybrid landscapes using API gateways and event streaming.
• Establish architecture principles, selection guidelines, and reusable patterns for delivery teams.
• Embed identity, data protection, and governance controls from the outset with security architects.
• Produce architecture artifacts: context diagrams, component models, sequence diagrams, decision records.
• Guide cloud migration, modernization, and re-platforming initiatives focusing on cost, performance, and resilience.
• Support PoCs to validate critical choices before broader adoption.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams during delivery.
• Track emerging technologies and drive strategic investments aligned with business priorities.
• Drive standardization to reduce debt and operational complexity across portfolios.
• Engage with vendors to evaluate roadmap fit and negotiate commitments.
• Ensure solutions meet regulatory, audit, and data governance requirements.

Location: 100% Remote (U.S.)

Salary Range: $100,000-$180,000 Annually

Key Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end solution architectures for enterprise applications covering application, integration, data, security, and infrastructure layers.
• Partner with business stakeholders to capture functional and non-functional requirements and translate them into reference architectures and target-state designs.
• Lead architecture review boards, evaluating proposed designs against enterprise standards, security policies, and long-term roadmap considerations.
• Design integration strategies across SaaS, on-premise, and hybrid landscapes, leveraging API gateways, event streaming, and managed integration platforms.
• Establish architecture principles, technology selection guidelines, and reusable patterns for use across multiple delivery teams.
• Collaborate with security architects to embed identity, data protection, and compliance controls into solution designs from the outset.
• Produce high-quality architecture artifacts including context diagrams, component models, sequence diagrams, and decision records.
• Guide cloud migration, modernization, and re-platforming initiatives with a focus on cost, performance, and resilience.
• Support proof-of-concept development to validate critical architectural choices before broader adoption.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams during solution delivery.
• Track emerging technologies and recommend strategic investments that align with business priorities.
• Drive standardization across application portfolios to reduce technical debt and operational complexity.
• Engage with vendors and platform partners to evaluate roadmap fit and negotiate technical commitments.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 12 or more years of experience in software engineering or solution architecture roles.
• Demonstrated experience architecting enterprise applications across at least two major cloud platforms.
• Strong expertise in integration patterns, API design, and event-driven architectures.
• Deep familiarity with at least one major enterprise platform such as SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, ServiceNow, or Workday.
• Working knowledge of identity, security, and data governance frameworks at enterprise scale.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience producing formal architecture artifacts and presenting them to senior leadership.
• Track record of leading architecture reviews and influencing engineering direction across teams.
• Strong understanding of cost optimization, scalability, and resilience trade-offs.

Preferred Qualifications

• TOGAF, AWS, Azure, or GCP architecture certifications.
• Experience with large-scale ERP, CRM, or HCM transformation programs.
• Exposure to regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, or life sciences.
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture tooling such as LeanIX, Ardoq, or Sparx EA.
• Experience driving cloud governance, FinOps, and cost transparency initiatives.
