Job summary

Ryder is seeking a Class A CDL Truck Driver for Marion, VA, offering weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and a long-term driving career. The role features a Sunday–Friday schedule, AM dispatch, and 4–5 nights out weekly, with a comprehensive pay structure described below.

Drivers are paid per mile and per stop, plus quarterly safety bonuses, sign-on bonuses at 30 and 90 days, and loyalty bonuses at 6 months and 1 year. Paid training and a robust benefits package accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test.
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position.
• Must have 1 year of Flatbed experience in the past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws and regulations.
• Detect and minimize safety hazards; maintain logs and records.
• Load/unload freight as required by customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
