Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Rochester, NY with weekly pay and excellent benefits. Drive sleepers across a broad region, including many states and Canada, with company support and 24/7 roadside maintenance.

Average weekly pay is $1,850, plus a safety bonus of $250 every quarter and loyalty bonuses of $2,000 at 6 months and 1 year. Paid training, home time at least every other weekend, and room to grow in a large driver network.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle.
• Experience windows: 9 months in 3 years OR 2 years in 5 years OR 5 years in 10 years.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions and to read/apply regulations.
• Pass a DOT physical and background/drug screen as part of the process.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal/state laws, regulations and guidelines.
• Detecting and eliminating safety hazards; maintain logs and records.
• Loading/unloading freight when required by customer; assist as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
