Job summary

JE Technology Solutions, Inc. is seeking a mid-level SolidWorks Designer to support the design, development, and production of manufactured products.

You will create and maintain accurate SolidWorks 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings, and manage bills of materials and design records within document control systems. The role requires 5–7 years of SolidWorks experience, strong drafting standards knowledge, and collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, and purchasing teams to deliver

Qualifications

• Mid-level mechanical design experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial equipment environment.
• Five to seven years of proven experience creating SolidWorks 3D models, assemblies, and detailed manufacturing drawings.
• Working knowledge of mechanical design principles, materials, fasteners, weldments, sheet metal, and machined parts.
• Ability to read, interpret, and create technical drawings and redline markups.

Responsibilities

• Create, revise, and maintain SolidWorks 3D part models, assemblies, and detailed 2D drawings.
• Develop drawings and documentation for fabricated and machined components.
• Apply mechanical design principles to support production-ready designs.
• Prepare and maintain BOMs, part numbers, and design records.
• Update models and drawings in response to design changes and feedback.
