Job summary

The Marvin Group is a Southern California-based defense contractor delivering engineering and manufacturing excellence for military aerospace and vehicle systems. The CAD/drafting role supports engineers by turning sketches and engineering direction into accurate SolidWorks models and clear production drawings.

Responsibilities include creating and revising 3D parts, preparing detailed fabrication drawings, and maintaining drawing packages with revision control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 2+ years of demonstrated experience using SolidWorks to create, modify, and maintain 3D part and assembly models and associated 2D drawings.
• Ability to produce clear, accurate fabrication and assembly drawings and follow revision practices.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to organize CAD files, BOMs, and drawing changes.
• Clear communication and collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams.

Position Summary
