Sarasota County is seeking a Contract Monitor Specialist to oversee solid waste collection contracts, enforce county ordinances, and conduct field inspections. You will assist residents with questions and service concerns to ensure reliable collection services while keeping the county clean and safe.
Responsibilities include monitoring operations, addressing non-compliance, promoting recycling programs, and designing educational materials to improve compliance.

Your work will help ensure reliable collection services while keeping Sarasota County clean, safe, and beautiful.
Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Subject to Passing Substance Screening: This position is subject to passing a pre-employment substance screening. An applicant who fails to pass a required drug screening test shall be disqualified from employment in any class for a period of five (5) years.
$22.94/hour
