Job summary

Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials is seeking a Solid Fuels Operator for our Buffalo, IA location. You will receive, prepare, and feed high-quality waste fuel materials into the recycling process to support efficient plant operations.

Requires 1+ year of industrial or manufacturing experience and a high school diploma or GED. You will operate equipment, perform basic maintenance, and contribute to a team focused on safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED.
• A minimum of 1–year of industrial, mechanical, or manufacturing experience.
• Experience operating, inspecting, and troubleshooting equipment.
• Good organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive, prepare, and feed fuel materials at a consistent rate (up to 13 tons/hour).
• Operate production and mobile equipment.
• Use basic maintenance tools, including hand tools, power tools, and rigging equipment.
