Job Summary

Solderer needed to perform high-quality soldering on complex builds and products.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Perform various types of soldering including surface mount, thru-hole, jumper wire, micro-soldering, and hand-soldering.
  2. Perform complex assembly operations according to established specifications and instructions.
  3. Conduct special soldering and assembly processes including validation builds and engineering sample builds.
  4. Perform first article checks to ensure all components match the bill-of-materials, are correctly placed, and have proper polarity.
  5. Repair defects in line and enter defect data into CIQ system.
  6. Maintain accurate daily logs and move/production tickets.
  7. Communicate positively and interface effectively with employees across manufacturing and support functions.
  8. Work under close supervision, with work direction from the immediate supervisor or, in their absence, from the Group Leader, Shift Leader, or other management.
  9. Follow simple, standardized, and routine written directions for assigned work, supplemented by verbal or visual instructions.
  10. Keep the assigned area clean and organized.
  11. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Job Qualifications

Minimum of 2+ years of electronic soldering experience.

Knowledge Requirements
  1. Effective communication skills with supervisors and peers.
  2. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  3. Proficiency in operating a personal computer with Windows-based software.
  4. Proper soldering skills according to work order specifications.
  5. Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
  6. Ability to interpret graphs, and compute rate, ratio, and percent.
