Job summary

AtWork Group is seeking a skilled PCB solder to join our team in Aurora, Colorado. The successful candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in Printed Circuit Board assembly, with the ability to perform surface mount and through-hole soldering.

This position requires attention to quality and the ability to work under tight deadlines. Shifts are available from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm or from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm.

Job description

We are looking for a PCB solder (surface mount and through-hole soldering) to join our team.

• 1st shift: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm
• 2nd shift: 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm
• Salary: $18–22 per hour

Essential Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Assemble boards using written process instructions, assembly drawings, and visual aids.
• Perform surface mount soldering, desoldering, and thru-hole soldering.
• Complete quality work through self-inspection.
• Recognize defective materials and disposition them appropriately.
• Use a microscope while soldering and inspecting SMT components.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of Printed Circuit Board assembly experience.
• Read and understand process instructions and assembly drawings.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Problem‑solve moderate‑scope and moderate‑complexity issues.
• Meet tight deadlines and work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Read and speak English.

Education and Experience:

• High School, GED, or equivalent.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience.
• Quality inspection experience – a plus.
• IPC A-610 or J-Std certification – a plus.
• SMT machine operator experience – a plus.
• Lean/6 Sigma experience – a plus.
