Job summary

ION Solar in Manassas, VA is seeking a Full-Time Solar Site Technician to perform residential roof site surveys, document sites with a company app, and clearly communicate the process and timeline to customers.

You will work with a team, use hand and power tools, and coordinate with the scheduling team. A high school diploma and basic roofing knowledge are required, along with the ability to work at heights and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic knowledge of roofing and construction: materials involved, roof types and terms.
• Basic knowledge of residential electrical systems and associated vocabulary.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a site survey with company-provided tools and equipment.
• Document site with a camera using company app.
• Effectively and professionally communicate with the customer to inform them of your process and timeline.
• Prompt and regular communication with Ion Solar's scheduling team.
