Job summary

Elevation Energy Solutions Inc. is hiring a Solar Service Technician to keep residential solar and battery systems running at peak performance across the Austin, TX area.

You will diagnose underperforming systems, repair or replace failed components, and ensure customer monitoring and backup power work reliably. This is a hands-on field role for someone with solar or electrical experience, offering steady, full-time work with a company that invests in its technicians through training and safety

Qualifications

• 1+ years of hands-on solar or electrical field experience.
• Working knowledge of NEC requirements and residential solar/battery electrical systems.
• Comfortable working on rooftops and at heights in all weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred, or willingness to obtain within the first 90 days.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose underperforming or offline solar and battery systems using monitoring data and on-site testing.
• Repair or replace inverters, optimizers, batteries, and related electrical components.
• Perform routine system inspections, cleanings, and preventive maintenance.
• Complete detailed, photo-documented service reports after every visit.
• Reactivate and troubleshoot customer monitoring and app connectivity.
• Follow NEC code and company safety protocols on every job, including working at height.
• Coordinate scheduling and parts with dispatch, and escalate warranty claims to manufacturers when needed.
• Drive a company vehicle between job sites and maintain trip and inventory logs.
