Job summary

PROSOLAR is hiring entry level and skilled solar electrical system installers. This team-focused role seeks motivated individuals eager to learn all aspects of PV installation, including Tesla and Enphase system programming.

Responsibilities include installing solar panels and battery systems, wiring to code, field troubleshooting, and documenting processes. A bilingual Spanish/English preference, valid driver’s license, and basic construction experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years related construction/electrical experience preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Experience with mechanical installations and ladder work is a plus.

Responsibilities

Ideal candidates are motivated team players with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn and master all aspects of installing PV solar systems. Must have knowledge in the installation and programming of Tesla and Enphase systems.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Installation of solar panels and baterry system.

• Electrical interconnection following and codes.

• Troubleshooting and resolution of technical problems in the field.

• Documentaton processes and reports.

Requirements

• H.S. Diploma, two-year degree in technology/industrial arts (preferred)

• 1-2 years of construction/electrical background.

• Valid driver’s license.

• Experience in mechanical installations, general construction and ladder work.

• Experience with all types of hand-held and power tools.

• Basic understanding/experience with electrical wiring of AC and DC systems is preferred

• Experience working with all types of building materials - various roof types: stucco, wood, concrete, etc.

• Team player who listens, learns, and actively communicates.

• Visual thinkers are good at problem solving and implementing ideas.

• Desire to learn and master all aspects of installing solar PV systems!

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• At least 1 years related experience

• Bilingual preferred (Spanish/English)

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing and being on feet

• Must be able to lift 50lbs -75lbs

• Must be able to work with heights; rooftops and climbing ladders
