Job summary

Cal Solar Inc. is seeking a Project Manager (PM) to own a portfolio of solar projects from contract signing to turnover. The PM will manage schedules, costs, procurement, and coordination with engineering and construction teams in a hybrid office/field role.

You must reside in San Diego or Riverside Counties and have experience in commercial/industrial solar construction, with strong NEC/NFPA 70E knowledge and excellent communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree or equivalent work experience.
• Residency in San Diego or Riverside Counties.
• Experience managing commercial/industrial solar construction projects.
• Strong understanding of NEC/NFPA 70E and related codes.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage project billing and ensure timely invoicing.
• Monitor budgets, costs, and margins; track WIP.
• Coordinate with GCs and subcontractors to ensure schedule.
• Develop and maintain project schedules.
• Oversee procurement and subcontracting.
• Support safety, quality, and site efficiency.
