Job summary

Vallum Associates in Greenwich, CT seeks an analyst to support the origination, evaluation, and acquisition of distributed generation solar projects and portfolios, building financial models and conducting due diligence.

You will assist in negotiating transaction documents such as purchase agreements, PPAs, site leases, and term sheets, and coordinate with engineering, construction, legal, and finance teams through development and closing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Data Science, or related field.
• 1+ years of experience in project finance, investment analysis, or financial modeling.
• Strong financial modeling and due diligence skills.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Renewable energy or infrastructure experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the origination, evaluation, and acquisition of distributed generation solar projects and portfolios.
• Build financial models, perform investment analysis, and conduct technical and financial due diligence.
• Assist with negotiating transaction documents, including purchase agreements, PPAs, site leases, and term sheets.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, legal, and finance teams throughout project development and closing.
• Develop relationships with developers, investors, and strategic partners.
