Placements24 is seeking a qualified Solar Panel Technician to join our hybrid field operations team. You will install, maintain, and repair solar PV systems for residential and commercial clients, ensuring safety and quality.

This role blends hands-on work with client communication and teamwork. You will perform installations, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting, while also training clients on operation and basic system maintenance.

Qualifications

• Technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related trade.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a solar technician or in a similar electrical installation role.
• Familiarity with safety procedures and working at heights.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the service area.

Responsibilities

• Install and mount solar panels, inverters, and associated electrical equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting of solar PV systems.
• Diagnose and repair system faults and performance issues.
