Trinity Solar is seeking an Installation Crew Leader to oversee the installation of residential solar systems. This role blends hands-on installation work with crew oversight to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to high quality standards.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • 1–2 years of solar installation, electrical, or related construction experience.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with comfort using tools, ladders, and working at heights.
  • Able to kneel, crouch, and lift/move 40–50 lbs regularly.
  • Proven ability to lead by example and motivate a team.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Clean MVR and ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.
  • Reliable attendance and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and participate in the installation of residential solar modules, racking, and equipment in compliance with NEC codes, company standards, and safety best practices.
  • Provide day-to-day guidance, direction, and technical expertise to the installation crew.
  • Ensure thorough documentation of each installation, including photos, array and equipment diagrams, and existing site features, and submit all materials promptly.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, inspectors, and internal teams throughout the project.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly jobsite that reflects company professionalism.
  • Safely operate and maintain company vehicles, following all policies and procedures.

  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
  • Must have reliable attendance and commitment to safety.
