Moss is seeking a Solar Electrical Field Engineer to support the Electrical Superintendent on multi-state solar projects. This role involves coordinating startup activities, expediting materials, overseeing field operations, and assisting with contract administration and RFIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related discipline.
• Six months to one-year minimum Solar internship or full-time experience as a project engineer or assistant project engineer in the construction industry.
• Strong computer skills with familiarity in construction project management applications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to interface with owners' representatives, the A/E team, building departments and other team members.
• Basic finance skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project start-up by developing startup checklist, site utilization plan, mobilization, subcontractor/vendor selection, and construction schedule.
• Expedite materials by managing submittal logs, fabrication/delivery schedules, and material coordination.
• Coordinate construction activities with the Superintendent and subcontractors, conduct meetings, track progress, and ensure safety compliance.
• Assist with project administration, RFI process, meeting minutes, and Prolog maintenance.
• Track project costs including pay requests and owner payments, and monitor subcontractor back charges.
• Support change order process by preparing cost proposals and negotiating costs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
