Job summary

New Leaf Energy is seeking a Design Engineer I to design, review and entitle solar PV projects ranging from 3MW to 300MW AC. You will support 15–25 projects concurrently and collaborate with design, civil and project development teams.

Candidates should have 1–3 years' experience and NABCEP credits; proficiency with AutoCAD, PV Case and PVSyst is expected. The role offers a hybrid work policy, competitive salary and a strong focus on training and growth.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years' design experience preferred.
• Completion of at least 40 NABCEP credits preferred.
• Ability to multi-task across multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, review and entitle solar PV projects from 3MW to 300MW AC.
• Support 15–25 projects concurrently with cross-functional teams.
• Develop site use permit plan sets and bid drawings (50%).
• Train new staff on New Leaf Energy design standards.
• Assist with permitting and IPP bidding considerations as needed.
