Moss & Associates LLC seeks a Solar Civil Assistant Superintendent to help plan, schedule, and direct solar construction projects across multiple states. You will partner with the Civil Superintendent to drive timetables and ensure safety, quality, and compliance.

Ideal candidates bring 2–4 years of solar site experience, a bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field, and the ability to work across Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina with high travel.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years’ experience as an Assistant Superintendent on solar construction projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related discipline, or relevant experience.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus; strong initiative and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Superintendent in communicating schedules, methods, safety, quality standards and company policies.
• Create and determine work schedules; implement a plan to maintain the project schedule.
• Oversee quality of work and adherence to budget in assigned areas.
• Collaborate with Superintendent to ensure project site and assets are secure.
• Manage contracts, subcontract documents, drawings, and local codes.
• Maintain a safe working environment through safety and quality control programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

POSITION SCOPE AND ORGANIZATIONAL IMPACT

Moss' Solar Civil Assistant Superintendents work in concert with the project management team to plan, schedule, organize and direct solar construction projects.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assists the Superintendent in communicating with subcontractors and employees a consistent level of expectations and direction regarding schedules, construction methods, company policies and procedures, permits, safety, quality control and other performance standards.
• Create and determine work schedules; develop and implement a plan to maintain the project schedule.
• Oversee the quality of work performed and adherence to budget in the assigned areas of the project.
• Collaborate with Superintendent to ensure project site and company assets are secure.
• Manage contracts, subcontract documents, drawings, and local codes.
• Always maintain a safe working environment by implementing safety and quality control programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

2–4 years’ experience as an Assistant Superintendent on solar construction projects. Exceptional ability to lead and manage others. Initiative and problem‑solving skills are a necessity. Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related discipline or relevant experience. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus. Computer proficiency.
