Job summary

Essel seeks a Solar AC Electrical Foreman to lead on-site solar electrical teams, overseeing installation, testing, and maintenance with strict adherence to safety standards. You will coordinate with project managers and other trades to ensure project progress, quality, and efficiency.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in solar energy, strong electrical knowledge, and the ability to motivate crews while traveling to multiple sites as required. A NABCEP certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as electrical foreman in solar energy or related fields.
• Broad knowledge of electrical principles, local codes and safety regulations.
• Strong leadership with ability to motivate and manage a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• High School diploma or equivalent; NABCEP certification is a plus.
• Willingness to travel to multiple job sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all local and electrical codes and safety regulations.


• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to maintain quality assurance and safety standards.


• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to communicate project status and resolve any issues that arise.


• Maintain accurate records of materials, labor, and project progress.


• Coordinate with other trades and services to optimize project workflow and resource efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an electrical foreman, with at least 3 years in solar energy or related fields.


• Comprehensive knowledge of electrical principles, and local codes, and safety regulations.


• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.


• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.


• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
