Job summary

Linen King Memphis in Memphis, TN is seeking a Soil Sorter for part-time, hourly work. You will sort linen on a moving conveyor, pick up soil linen, and place it into slings or carts. You must follow SOPs and meet quality and production standards.

This role emphasizes punctuality, attendance, safety, teamwork, and willingness to work beyond schedule when needed. Training and company policies are explained on entry.

Qualifications

• Be able to stand on feet up to 10 hours a day.
• Sufficient manual dexterity to sort linen.
• Must be able to consistently meet physical requirements such as bending, twisting, lifting and pulling.

PURPOSE : To provide quality service and products to our customers in a timely and professional manner.

JOB SUMMARY : Responsible for the correct sorting of linen that has been placed on a moving conveyor belt in front of them. Picks up soil linen and places it in the corresponding sling/cart. Follows standard operating procedures. Must meet quality and production standards.
