Job summary

The University of Georgia is seeking a Soil Science Intern in the Warnell-Research department. The selected undergraduate student will perform basic soil chemical, physical, and biological analyses and may work on an independent project.

Responsibilities include data collection, curation, and analysis, as well as occasional outdoor or laboratory work. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Open to undergraduate students at UGA and other USG schools.
• Preference for those enrolled in a degree in soils and water, community forestry and arboriculture, or forestry.
• Must be able to perform laboratory work and data collection.
