Position Overview

A Ceramic Tile Cutter is responsible for cutting and creating samples from ceramic and various tiles using wet or dry saw cutters.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Use a wet or dry cut tile saw to cut ceramic and other tiles according to specifications.
• Measure tile sizes accurately and cut with precision.
• Perform quality checks during cutting to ensure satisfactory results.
• Assist with warehouse tasks such as picking, packing, inventory, and shipment preparation as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Minimum of 1 year of experience and basic knowledge of warehouse procedures.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and task prioritization.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends if required.

Education and Experience

• Basic knowledge of power tools such as dry tile saws, drills, and nail guns.
• Knowledge of tile setting, grout mixing, and construction is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and proficient math skills.
• Ability to take and read measurements accurately.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Physical Requirements

• Standing, walking, bending, and squatting frequently.
• Repetitive motions involving pushing and pulling.
• Regularly lift up to 25 lbs and unassisted up to 50 lbs.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
