The Software Test Analyst’s role is to work with software designs and engineers to perform acceptance testing with software solutions.

This is onsite several days a week and some remote work is available. Must be local to the Pittsburgh area. This is a 6-12 month contract with extensions possible or full time status.

Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with team to understand features, warehousing practices and product goals
2. Create, document, and run manual and automated test cases to test new features
3. Create defect reports with detailed steps, environmental conditions, and other details as needed to reliably reproduce the issue
4. Acquire a deep understanding of the product requirements and technologies
5. Work with the team coordinating testing activities for the project

Position Requirements

Formal Education & Certification

1. College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science, information systems, or software engineering

Knowledge & Experience

1. Ability to adapt to changes to software and reprioritization of tasks
2. Excellent listening, oral, and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills
