Job summary

T-Rex Solutions, LLC is seeking a Software Tools Engineer 1 to support an Intelligence Community program in the Fort Meade, Maryland area. The role requires hands-on experience with toolchains and requirements repositories, plus strong writing skills.

Responsibilities include installing and upgrading ClearCase/ClearQuest, using Jira for tracking, and scripting across environments (Perl, Bash, Python). A TS/SCI with FSP clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) clearance is required.
• Experience installing/upgrading ClearCase and ClearQuest tools.
• Strong knowledge of using Jira and other PM/tracking tools.
• General scripting knowledge: Perl, Bash, sh, csh, Windows batch, Python.
• Excellent writing skills and ability to document clearly.

Responsibilities

• Install/operate/administer and upgrade ClearCase and ClearQuest Tools.
• Develop/implement requirements repositories.
• Use Jira and other project management/tracking tools.
• Apply scripting across environments (Perl, Bash, Python, etc.).
• Demonstrate excellent writing skills in communications.
