Software Tester

We are in search of a detail-oriented and experienced Software Tester to join our team in Los Angeles. As a Software Tester, you will be responsible for conducting manual and automated tests to ensure the quality and functionality of our software products. This is a contract position with a salary of $1200 per month, with accommodation and visa sponsorship provided for candidates from Canada or those who require it.

Responsibilities

• Execute manual and automated tests on software products to identify bugs, defects, and other issues
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve any issues found during testing
• Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements
• Perform regression testing to ensure that previously fixed issues do not reoccur
• Document and report bugs in a clear and concise manner
• Maintain testing environments and ensure they are up to date with the latest software versions

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in software testing or a related field
• Strong understanding of software development processes
• Experience with manual testing techniques as well as automated testing tools such as Selenium or Appium
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python is an asset
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Preference will be given to Canadian candidates or those with English-speaking abilities.
