Job summary

A leading defense contractor in New York is seeking a Software Test Engineer to analyze system requirements and develop test plans. Responsibilities include validating software performance across multiple operating systems, executing evaluations, and producing comprehensive reports. Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field along with 2-8 years of experience, including a current TS/SCI with Poly clearance. Qualifications

• 2 - 8 years of testing experience, additional experience may substitute for a degree.
• Current TS/SCI with Poly clearance required.
• Current IAT Level II certification is required such as Sec+.
• 1 - 3 years' experience testing products written in Java or GoLang.
• 1- 5 years' experience testing in Linux, Unix, Windows, or Cisco OS.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute performance analysis.
• Validate modeling and simulation for T&E use.
• Apply statistical analysis of variations in performance behavior.
• Execute evaluation plans on collected data.
• Produce evaluation reports, risk assessments, status reports.
