Our client, a leading organization in the technology and software development industry, is seeking a Software Test Engineer / QA Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Software Test Engineer / QA Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Quality Assurance department supporting cross‑functional teams dedicated to delivering high‑quality cloud‑based web applications. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical thinking, excellent communication skills, and a passion for ensuring software excellence, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Software Test Engineer / QA Engineer

Location:Memphis, TN (onsite with a hybrid schedule of 2-3 days a week)

Pay Range:$50

What's the Job?

• Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts for UI using Selenium Java and for REST APIs using Rest Assured and TestNG
• Build and implement SQL queries and validate databases using automation tools
• Blend automated and manual testing strategies to ensure comprehensive end-to-end functional coverage without compromising quality
• Perform hands-on testing of Microservices and REST APIs, including automation and integration testing
• Review requirements and design documents to create detailed, comprehensive, and well‑structured test plans, test strategies, and accurate work execution estimates

What's Needed?

• Proficiency in test automation using Selenium Java, Rest Assured, TestNG, Cucumber, Postman, Ready API, and REST/JSON APIs
• Strong SQL skills with the ability to build queries and validate databases through automation
• Hands‑on experience with Microservice and REST API testing, including automation and integration
• Proficiency with the Atlassian toolset including Jira, Confluence, Stash, and Bamboo
• Strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum development methodologies
