CNH Industrial is seeking an energetic Electrical Engineering intern to develop test cases and validate HIL simulations. You will contribute to Simulink-based I/O models and work with cross‑functional teams to improve validation methods.

Ideal candidates are pursuing an Electrical Engineering degree, familiar with Python scripting, MATLAB/Simulink, and configuration desk tools, and willing to collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment.

Qualificações

• Currently enrolled college student actively pursuing a degree.
• Experience with HIL testing is a plus.
• Interest in electrical engineering and embedded systems.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and validate Simulink-based I/O models for HIL simulations.
• Create and maintain validation test cases in a dSPACE HIL environment.
• Design manual and automated test cases to support system validation.
• Develop automated test solutions using Python, configuration desk, and parameterization.

Intern Program Overview

Summer interns work full‑time (40 hours per week) from May through August. Candidates must be currently enrolled college students actively pursuing a degree to participate in the internship program.

Job Purpose

Develop Test Cases for various Projects. Both automated and manual validation will be performed. Support Universal HIL development and delivery milestones.

Key Responsibilities

Contribute to the development and enhancement of Simulink-based I/O models used within HIL simulations.

• Develop, maintain, and execute validation test cases within a dSPACE Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test environment.
• Design and implement both manual and automated test cases to support system validation and verification activities.
• Create and maintain automated test solutions using techniques such as:
  • Parameterization
  • Configuration Desk
  • Python scripting
• Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams to validate software and system performance in closed‑loop environments.
• Support continuous improvement of test methodologies, automation frameworks, and validation processes.

Experience Required

• Experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing and validation is a plus, preferably using dSPACE platforms.
• Proficiency in Python for test automation and scripting.
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink model development and simulation.
• Knowledge of Configuration Desk and test parameterization techniques.
• Understanding of closed‑loop system validation and control system testing.
• Familiarity with automotive, agricultural, off‑highway, or embedded systems validation environments is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• In Pursuit of an Electrical Engineering Degree.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary engineering environment.
• Experience developing test strategies that improve validation efficiency, coverage, and automation maturity.
