Job summary

Precise Software Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Test Engineer in Rockville, MD to lead testing across multiple applications. The role requires hands-on manual and automation testing, ability to manage multiple priorities, and collaboration with BA and development teams.

Qualified candidates will have 5+ years in functional testing, experience with Agile, and a strong understanding of SDLC. Public Trust background check is required, with US residency for last 3 years.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: BA/BS Information Systems, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience with functional testing.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of the software development life cycle.
• Expertise with writing Test Procedures.
• Experience automating tests in testing tools to support automation, 508 compliance, and performance testing.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a remote team or with geographically dispersed team.
• Experience with database migration testing and Appian re-platforming/testing beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Deploying and managing resources for testing.
• Define test estimation techniques.
• Perform project risk analysis and design plans/solutions to address them.
• Generate test evaluation reports.
• Works closely with BA and developers to ensure comprehensive testing.
• Analyze, design, develop, and maintain test cases, test approaches, and test plans.
• Conduct functional testing, regression testing, and system integration testing, support UAT, and report issues.
• Develop/Review test artifacts that validate release requirements.
• Perform initial root cause analysis when issues are identified.
• Support continuous improvement of the current test process.
• Create Test deliverables at end of each sprint/release.

Precise is seeking a Test Engineer for a challenging and dynamic project. If you are innovative and able to lead a diverse team with multiple applications, then please apply today! Work Location: Rockville, MD

Clearance Requirement: Successful candidates must be able to complete a Public Trust background check and must have resided in the United States for the past 3 years.

Key Responsibilities
