Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking a QA Software Testing Associate for a 6-month contract in Plymouth, MN. The role involves collaborating with Software Test Engineers to execute and document tests on proprietary software used to sterilize medical equipment worldwide.

Responsibilities include executing test cases, logging defects, performing exploratory testing, and developing test cases for simpler modules, with a hybrid work arrangement (2-3 days onsite).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Associate’s in CS or related field preferred.

Requirements:

• Minimum Educational Requirement: High school diploma or GED, Associate’s in Computer Science or higher degree preferred
• Excellent documentation and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to understand and execute test scenarios
• Professional work habits (attendance, teamwork, time management)
• Team player able to follow project direction
• Prior QA/testing experience

Highly Preferred:

• Experience with any testing tools: HPQC, TestRail, Postman, Gherkin/Cucumber
