Job summary

Sanmina Corporation is seeking a Software QA Test Engineer to improve a battle-tested tactical communication system. The candidate must be highly organized, deadline oriented, and able to succeed in a fast-paced development environment with frequently changing priorities.

You will review requirements, plan and execute software test cases, perform system integration, document results, track defects to closure, and collaborate closely with development teams throughout the software lifecycle to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 2 years software test experience.
• System or network administrator experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong MS Office knowledge.

• Resolving schedule conflicts to coordinate meetings, improving front-end order entry process and program close-out activities, monitoring time charging on specific programs
• Improve processes as appropriate to streamline program management efficiency

Software QA Test Engineer

Job Purpose:

We are looking for a highly motivated engineer interested in improving a battle tested, field proven tactical communication system. The candidate must be highly organized, deadline oriented and able to succeed in a fast paced development engineering environment with frequently changing priorities. We are looking for a software tester who has experience with system administration and/or networking to broaden our test focus in an ever changing environment.

Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:

• Review requirements
• Responsible for planning, creation, and execution of software test cases
• Perform system integration, verification, and validation activities
• Document test results and classify performance issues
• Review project specifications and recommend effective changes
• Run tests, identify, and analyze defects found during testing
• Work closely with the development teams and contribute in every aspect of software lifecycle
• Track defects to closure
• Following up with customers to ensure their requests have been addressed
• Resolving schedule conflicts to coordinate meetings, improving front-end order entry process and program close-out activities, monitoring time charging on specific programs
• Improve processes as appropriate to streamline program management efficiency

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant field
• Have solid test knowledge; minimum 2years software test experience is required
• Systems or network administrator experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office products
• Experience with test automation is a plus
• Experience with tactical communications equipment is a plus
